Sharyn E., from the Naperville area meetings, passed away July 9th from a tough battle with cancer.  Sharyn was an active member in Chicagoland GA and started her recovery journey on 08/29/2011.  Since the beginning, she was gently “volun-told” to try some service work, and jumped right in and found it to be an essential and enjoyable part of her recovery program. She was room secretary for several rooms over the years and participated in the workings of intergroup to eventually becoming the chairperson.  Her organizational skills and attention to details helped immensely with conference registrations and planning.  She will be sadly and dearly missed by her close GA friends.  She was proceeded in death by her sister Kathy E, who was an active Gam-Anon participant in the combined meetings in Buffalo Grove for several years.  Services will be private.
